Walking Safaris in Tarangire, Arusha and Manyara National Parks and the Ngorongoro Highlands

A professionally accompanied footsafari offers you a safari experience that cannot be more intense and immediate. No Landcruisers, no chugging diesel, but  the authentic, immediate sounds  and smells of the landscape, and animals. You will almost feel as if you have been transported back to the times when Africa was discovered by Europeans on foot.

Our walking safaris, conducted  with professional, armed  guides  and local guides, will allow you to get close  to the animals on paths and in a way that will enchant you with unforgettable impressions.   You will walk the same paths as elephants and other wildlife before you. In the habitat of these animals, in this purest form of safari, you are no longer just spectators, but participants in the world of African wildlife. You will rave about this proximity to the African bush for a lifetime.

Our safari walks are tailored to the fitness of the group. At a leisurely pace, with many breaks, they will be on the road for about two to four hours.  To protect yourself from the sun and bushes, we advise you to wear long-sleeved shirts and not shorts.   If you wear closed shoes and put your trouser ends in your socks, you will make it harder for ants to bite you in the legs.   To protect against the sun, it is best to wear a wide-brimmed hat. And spray not only your free body surfaces, but also your clothes with an insect repellent.  If you feel uncomfortable on the way, please inform your guide or safari guide without hesitation, so that he can respond to your sensitivities and, if necessary, adjust the planning of the further safari walk.
