MIKUMI National Park – Safari Game Drive

Today you need to get up early. At 7:00 a.m. our flight to Mikumi National Park departs. After our arrival at about 8:00 a.m. and a short briefing by the safari guide, we immediately set off for a game drive in the park. Around 12:00 noon we will have a lunch break and then continue our game drive to observe the animals that we have not seen yet. Around 4:00 p.m. we start our return flight to Zanzibar.

4 Day

Mnemba Island.

Today you are on the road all day. We will pick you up at 09:00 am at Matemwe Muyuni beach. From here we go by boat to snorkel around the island of Mnemba. In the beach restaurant you can get a local lunch consisting of rice, french fries and seafoodn served. Being able to swim with the dolphins near Mnemba Island is the highlight of many guests’ stay in Zanzibar. At the end of our excursion we will visit the sea turtles at the Nungwi Aquarium and leave between 16 and 17 o’clock to return.

Prison Island Tour

Today’s tour takes us to three different highlights. On the so-called prison island, which was actually never a prison, we visit giant turtles and learn about the real history of the island. Afterwards, you can once again admire the variety of tropical fish among the corals on another snorkeling trip.

To reach our second stop, we use a boat again and make a stopon “Nakupenda Island”, or Sandbank called Love Island. Here we take the time for bathing in the Meer and a picnic. You will be served pineapple, watermelon, orange, mango, banana and other tropical fruits. And you’ll delight in rice and seafood such as grilled calamari and lobster at a local lunch.

Around 4:00 p.m. we set off for our third destination of the day. On an approximately 3-hour walking tour, your guide will show you the sights of Stone-Town, the historic old town, the island’s capital. You will visit theold market of Zanzibar, where you will immerse yourself i the bustle and bustle of the people and the scent clouds of the typical spices. Your tour will take you to the old slave market, the House of Wonders, and a number of other sights. On this tour you will have ample opportunity to buy souvenirs typical of the island.

Safari End

Unfortunately, your stay in Zanzibar is already coming to an end today. Your driver will make sure that you catch your flight home or connecting flight to the mainland on time.
