Safari at Night
A safari at night?
In the dark, big cats such as lions and leopards go hunting in Tarangire National Park. Now the nocturnal animals venture out of their hiding places. Watch the Serval, other African wildcats, honey badgers and porcupines in the light of the powerful headlights on your safari vehicle. In Manyara National Park you have the rare opportunity to watch hippos in full size feeding at night.
The cone of light illuminates the stage for hunters and the hunted. Lions, sluggishly dozing in the sun during the day, now show their side as predators and rulers of the savannahs.

Our Offers

We offer you some highlights beyond to the usual safari programs. Follow our human ancestors on foot on a hike from Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano at Lake Natron to the Olduvai Gorge in the Serengeti. Or join the men of the Hadzabe people on their morning hunt. You may also want to enjoy the vastness of the African landscape from the air, from a paraglider. Experienced pilots in Kilimanjaro National Park will take you on this flying experience. Safari highlights for birdwatchers among you are perhaps less our “Big Five” than over 400 bird species in the northern national parks. You wish – We plan to inspire you.
Are there safaris for seniors?
No matter how many springs of your life you are in right now, if you are planning a safari in the national parks or want to enjoy a beach holiday in Zanzibar. During the preparation, you tell us what is important to you, what we need to pay attention to, and also the things that you may not want. Together we will design your private safari, where only you decide the when, the how, the where and for how long. The safari vehicle is exclusively available to you and your fellow travelers during your private safari. Your personal driver and guide will always have an open ear for your wishes.
We plan safaris exclusively according to the wishes of our guests. We don’t ask about age.
Are there safaris for seniors?
No matter how many springs of your life you are in. On your private safari, only you decide the when, where and for how long. There are no constant group pressures. You will enjoy it relaxed when the varied landscape passes by on the game drive. A photo safari in Tanzania is an experience for all your senses. You feel the wind when you look out of the open top of the Landcruiser for the Big Five, you hear the sounds of Africa in the bush and in the evening in your accommodation, you smell when you approach a hippopotamus pond before you see the animals and you taste a cool drink when you review the day in the evening. Safaris for seniors – they don’t exist. For seniors, there are bingo nights.
The annual highlight for wildlife photographers is the Great Migration. When millions of herd animals migrate in a constant cycle from the Serengeti to the Kenyan Mara region and back again, cross the Mara River at the risk of their lives and then give birth to their calves in the South Serengeti in January. But not only wildlife photographers get their money’s worth in Tanzania. Diverse and varied vegetation zones, landscapes on Lake Natron and the still active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai, which look as if they are out of this world, will make your photo gallery look faster.
And as if all this wasn’t enough, a beach holiday at a resort on the snow-white beaches of Zanzibar crowns your Tanzania experience. If the mainland has delighted your eyes, you will indulge in the scent world of pepper, nutmeg, clove, vanilla, turmeric, cardamom, caraway, tamarind and coriander during your visit to a spice farm in Zanzibar.
